What ever happened to the battery tester? It just occurred to me the other day that I had no way of testing my rechargeable batteries to see if they needed to be charged. Putting a rechargeable battery into the charger for eight hour if it doesn't need to be charged is just a waste. It's also not good for the battery.
Is it a conspiracy? Cause my new cordless phones have no way of showing if the battery needs charging either. It gives you a ten second beep before it cuts you off. So what do people do? They leave their phones on the charger all day when its not being used, so that at least you know that when you answer the phone it won't cut out during your conversation.
This is bad for the environment for so many reasons. Without a simple way of knowing the charge of the batteries we charge them when they don't need to be; we leave phones on the charger; we shorten the life-span of the rechargeable batteries creating more waste than needed.
If you find a battery tester use it cause it will maximize your environmental rechargeable battery experience.
