"A truck driver took the British government to court on Thursday over a decision to send copies of former U.S. Vice President Al Gore's global warming film to secondary schools as part of its climate change campaign." - Reuters
Some believe that the film isn't based on scientific facts and that as a result should not be apart of the scientific curriculum. Political opponents believe that the film is being used as a propaganda tool to favour more environmentally conscious party's. The debate over climate change is quickly becoming the platform for many politicians. Barak Obama promises more environmental commitments in the USA. In Canada, Jack Layton of the NDP might see his party grow as a result of his commitment to the environment.
Whatever goes on in the political sphere has a direct effect on how environmentally friendly our countries will become.
