The World's Most Polluted River

"An the world's most polluted river award goes to... (drumroll) Citarum, Jakarta, Indonesia."

It is quite the accomplishment to be able to claim that your country has the most polluted waterways. By the way, this picture was in no way Photoshoped or anything.

I couldn't imaging what possessed these people into believing that it's okay to dump all of your garbage into the lakes and rivers. And we wonder why disease is so rampant in those countries.

If we are going to combat global warming we need to begin by mustering some common sense first. REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE.
