In keeping with our look at “stuff” here on Hugg, I found this video on a new blog run by Mateo Yorke called Lower Footprint.
This is an introduction to a video called The Story of Stuff. Produced by Annie Leonard and Free Range Studios, The Story of Stuff is a 20 minute video (also presented in bite-sized chunks on YouTube) that shows the generally unseen consequences of our patterns of production and consumption. Annie helps illuminate the connections between the choices we make in the marketplace and their the social and environmental ramifications.
The video is an informative and often light-hearted call for each one of us to do our part in creating a sustainable future. Well worth the time.
