talking about the planet

freephoto1greenleaf.jpg

I'm constantly learning about the environment and the impact of climate change. That's why I'm excited about talking about the planet coming up at Hart House Theatre in Toronto on November 8/08.

The afternoon will be "debate and discussion about the serious threats to our physical world and what we can do to make a difference."

Carol Off will moderate the debate and discussion with authors Thomas Homer-Dixon (The Upside Down, The Ingenuity Gap); J.B. MacKinnon and Alisa Smith (The 100-Mile Diet); Chris Turner (The Geography of Hope) and Adria Vasil (Ecoholic).

When: Saturday, November 8/08, 1-6 pm
Where: Hart House Theatre, 7 Hart House Circle, University of Toronto
Tickets: Buy online or Call 416-978-8849 and 416-640-5836. Ask about special ticket offers for students.
