We learn early on in elementary science class that trees and plants absorb the CO2 and chemically transform it into breathable Oxygen. Could there be a scientific solution to solving global warming then. Virgin Empire owner Richard Branson seems to think so. He has personally offered a large cash prize to anyone who can create a machine capable of trapping CO2 emissions.
Scientists and engineers are working on what they call Synthetic Trees. What they do is attract and absorb CO2 gases and reduce their prosperities into baking soda, I'm sure not the kind you would want to use in you cookie dough. One unit or synthetic tree is capable of replicating 1,000 trees. If the project is deemed successfully, synthetic trees could spring up all over the world.
Does this mean that we will someday live in a completely synthetic world? That's a scary thought. Here's a better idea, PLANT MORE TREES. There, problem solved. So, can I get that prize now?
