Silverchair and Powderfinger Concerts' "Going Green"

Daniel Johns Green.jpg

After the Spice Girls received heated remarks from environmentalists for their lavish, environmentally unfriendly tour, other tours since are becoming more Green conscious. The Silverchair / Powderfinger tour for example, has committed to being completely carbon neutral.

“The Silverchair / Powderfinger tour has invested in renewable energy projects via Climate Friendly, such as wind power, that will prevent exactly the same amount of greenhouse gas emissions that are generated by the event,” said a spokesperson for the tour.

The tour Across The Great Divide begins August 29th in Newcastle.
