Searching Good, Searching Well

In an earlier post, Good_searchJyle introduced you to Blackle, the search engine that saves energy by providing google search results on a simple black background (a dark screen requires less energy from all those little pixels).

There are other search options that allow the searcher to search good while searching well. From providing results focused on “green” websites to donating a portion of the click revenue to charity, they represent a “long tail” of charitable opportunity and green resources – a lot of little actions can add up to make a big difference.

A good place to start is this quick list posted today from Ideal Bite.
