
I'm not sure if I understand his let alone be able to explain its theory. But it seems that a bunch of British scientists believe they have the key to slowing the effects of global warming.
"British scientists James Lovelock and Chris Rapley have proposed putting thousands of giant tubes into the oceans to spur carbon-absorbing plant growth. But some scientists worry the idea might release more carbon dioxide than it captures."

Does it sound confusing? Let me know if anyone who has some scientific background agrees with this. It kind of seems like the time when the United States government believed it a good idea to dump a bunch of old tires into the Ocean to simulate coral reefs. Turned out the tires were causing more damage to the fragile reefs.
