If re-decorating your home this summer includes applying a fresh coat of paint, consider using eco-friendly paint. Regular paint contain solvents that are toxic, which could have an adverse effect on your indoor air quality and health. Eco-paint is also great for the environment because no harmful chemicals were made in their production. There are a wide variety of suitable paint brands out there to choose from so don't worry about selections.
Advisory: Make sure you understand the paint you are buying since there have been some complaints made on-line about some brands of organic paints rubbing off onto clothing. This however is not true for all organic paints.
Green Seal is an organization that certifies products to make sure they can be called economically friendly. They have a long list of paint brands they've approved at Paints & Coatings.
