Promote Being-Green in your community through letters

We have all heard that "the pen is mightier than the sword", well we need to put those wise words into practice by writting to congress, municiple governments and private companies. Protesting works, but letters have a way of getting to the right people and strait to where it hurts the most. All the reader can do is read and reflect on its powerful words.

If writting letters is not your cup-of-tea, there are ways you can get your message accross. I fell upon The 11th Hour, a new film produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, which demonstrates the urgency of solving global warming. What I found interesting on its website was the section dedicated to giving helpful hints on how we can all make a difference. At Action Letters they have come up with some print, sign, and send, letter templates for a variety of different venues.

So, no more excuses. Take out the most powerful weapon known to man and send out those letters. The more they get, the more they have to take environmental issues seriously.
