Power Adaptor Drainer

Power adapters are sometimes called power "Vampires" because they will suck the energy from your home. Power adapters are found as power sources for stuff that require little energy. Hold up, how does it make sense that a Laptop which is five times more energy efficient than a PC consume unnecessarily from its battery charger. Well thats life I guess, you try to be smart by using devices that use less energy but in the end they will consume more through the Power Adapters.

Hold on having energy efficient products is great so if it requires a Power Adapter plug it into a power bar instead of directly into the wall. This will help reduce the amount of energy the adapter has to convert meaning less wasted energy.

Other examples of power "vampires" would be Glade Plug-ins, or night lights; essentially anything that could run on batteries being put into a socket will sky-rocket your electricity bill. So plug what you can into a powerbar and for the rest use rechargeable batteries. I know that Glade Plug-ins will not work on batteries so try just burning incense or keeping a pot of potpourri around the house. There are so many natural ways of doing things that we have come to rely on electricity to do instead.
