Plastic Bottle Island

plastic-bottle-island 69

We build multi-million dollar homes ontop of old landfills all the time. How come no-one ever thought of using that technology to build a habitable island? Well that's just what Richart Sowa did.

He was a carpenter from England who decided to move to Mexico. Collecting bottles for cash, he decided to use the unwanted trash to build himself a place to live. Because there is too much red-tape involved in purchasing land as a foreigner, he decided instead to build an island free from any zoning laws.
