The New Democratic Party of Canada (NDP) leader, Jack Layton and his wife, Member of Parliament Olivia Chow, let camera crews inside their modest Toronto co-op home.

Jack Layton has been known for his advocacy of the environment and social reform in Canada. Unlike other advocates, he truly practises what he preaches; he even takes the bus to work because he doesn't own a vehicle.
