Green Tip of the Day

tire_pressure.jpg

7. Don't over or under-inflate your tires.

If you are driving with under-inflated tires, you are most likely not running your vehicle at its optimal fuel-efficiency. Over-inflation is also damaging as it will prematurely wear out the tread. So be sure to keep your vehicle's tires at their specified pressure.

Note: All vehicles weigh differently, so not all tires should be inflated the same. The tire pressure specific for your vehicle is not the maximum pressure printed on the tire; your vehicle's recommended tire-pressure is printed on the side of the driver's side door.
