Google's Larry Brilliant on the Triple Bottom Line

There are many innovative thinkers, philanthropists, and business leaders working hard to create positive change in our world. Dr. Larry Brilliant is one of those people.

Dr. Brilliant is head of Google.org, the philanthropic arm of Google, and in this short video he talks of the "triple bottom line". The idea is that forward thinking businesses, entrepreneurs and investors take a win-win-win approach to business, looking for a bottom line that brings financial reward, social justice, and environmental stewardship.

To learn more about this business approach and how some businesses and entrepreneurs are taking seriously their social and environmental responsibility, check out TriplePundit.com.

The blog has a post about Google's efforts in renewable energy and a longer video of Dr. Brilliant speaking at the Skoll Foundation World Forum earlier this year where he discusses his reasons for optimism in our challenging world.
