Greenpeace has a way of catching peoples attention. Well this time they did it by taking pictures of 600 fully exposed participants standing atop of the Aletsch Glacier in Switzerland.
"Without clothes, the human body is vulnerable, exposed, its life or death at the whim of the elements. Global warming is stripping away our glaciers and leaving our entire planet vulnerable to extreme weather, floods, sea-level rise, global decreases in carrying capacity and agricultural production, fresh water shortages, disease and mass human dislocations."
The act was in an attempt to bring attention to the fact that glaciers around the world are melting. Some scientists believe that the Aletsch Glacier will be completely gone by 2080. For those who doubt global warming they needn't search hard watching the glaciers melt should be proof enough.
