A candlelight dinner, a leisurely walk, a quiet evening looking at the stars…
Looking at the stars? In the middle of a city?
Yes indeed. This Saturday between 8 and 9PM local time cities throughout the world will let the startshine in as they go dark in observation of Earth Hour.
From Sydney to Atlanta, Tel Aviv to Bangkok, cities are turning off their lights to show a united effort to come together to find solutions to climate change. Individuals can pledge to switch off their lights, televisions, and computer for the hour, and as of this writing, well over a quarter million people have signed up.
So what are you doing this Saturday night?
