I’m ashamed to admit it. I like to consider myself a “tree hugger”, but all this time I’ve been tossing my coffee grounds and tea bags in the garbage.
Shame on me.
Coffee grounds can be used for compost in your garden and inside for your house plants.
And since we're now composting (with those used grounds and kitchen scraps), the next step is making your own “compost tea” (no you don’t drink this stuff), using the mixture for watering your plants both inside and out.
Composting is a great way to keep the natural nutrient cycle moving and helps avoid using dangerous chemicals - all while keeping your garden and indoor plants vibrant and healthy.
