Climate Change and the Power of the Consumer (You and Me)

ClimateCounts.org is a non-profit project that scores businesses annually on the basis of their voluntary efforts to reduce carbon emissions and overall carbon footprint.

Based on the idea that people can and should take responsibility for their consumer decisions, ClimateCounts enables consumers to make informed decisions about which companies they give their money to – and which ones they don’t.

As lone individuals, we often feel as if we have no power to make positive changes in the face of such a daunting challenge like climate change. But we do, and here is one example of how we can exercise that power.
