Christmas shop responsibly

If you've started Christmas shopping, you can be "hip, savvy and ethical" by purchasing socially responsible products and services.

"This holiday shop responsibly - Buy fair trade, environmentally and socially conscious products and services," advises REAP Calgary.

The not-for-profit Calgary association REAP stands for Respect for the Earth and All People. "We know that every choice we make about what to buy and where affects our planet and the lives of its inhabitants, so our mission is to help you make choices that have positive consequences," says REAP.

The association has an online list of Calgary retailers and discounts at Shop Responsible Calgary.
